In MVSREC(Autonomus),Hyderabad.Dr. K. V. G. RAO, a dynamic personality with 32 years of experience and has obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad in Dec’ 08. He has completed both B.Tech(ECE) and M.Tech from computers (CSE) and from JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad in 1984 and 1997 respectively He was recipient of Academic Excellence Award by GNITS in 2009. He was the recipient of Best Engineering college Teacher Award for the year 2013 in the stream of computer Science and Engineering by ISTE, United ANDHRA PRADESH. He was also the selected Distinguished professor from Computer science & Engg. Stream by Indian National Science Academy in 2014. He is the ratified Professor in CSE by JNTUH in 2012(university selection committee) . He was the recipient of Best project Mentor award from Anveshana in Feb, 2015. He has published more than 165 Technical papers in International and National Journals and National and International conferences . He is presently guiding(as supervisor & co Supervisor) 18 Ph.D. scholars under various Universities out of which 13 people got awarded the Ph.D too.(JNTUH of 11 and JNTUA of 2). He also worked with JNTUH in the Dept of CSE . He worked with GNITS(A) for a period of 20 years and associated with many positions which includes Head CSE Dept , Chief –Coordinator of EDC(Entrepreneurship Developemnet cell) , Faculty Advisor ISTE, convener for NCCC-06 and NCCC-08, Central – Library in-charge, In charge – PG STUDIES(CSE), Training and placements, Student Activities, R&D consultancy. etc.,

He is also the Management committee (MC Member) of CSI Hyderabad chapter (2020 -2021 & 2021-2022)
