The Research & Development and Consultncy activities are pursued and monitored by R&D and Consultancy Cell of the college. The MVSR Research & Development Centre is a dedicated hub for transformative research, innovation, product development, and industry-academia collaboration at MVSR Engineering College. Spread across a dedicated 4000+ sq. ft. research facility, the Centre empowers faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions for critical societal and industrial challenges — from securing funded projects to publishing impactful research. The Cell is established to promote and facilitate R&D as well as Consultancy in technical core and interdisciplinary areas in the college. The facility is to act as a catalyst in creating R&D ambience and culture as integral part of the functioning of each department and will be one of the chief drivers of future growth of the college to shape itself as a technical institution of national importance. Policy for promotion of research
To promote research activities, college has established RDC Cell (Research and Development Cell) that deals with all research projects funded by various funding agencies and Consultancy in technical core. College encourages its faculty to apply for research projects from external funding agencies apart from College funded projects.Teachers without PhD are encouraged to complete their PhD by providing weekly OD and incentives for publishing papers in high impact journals. College is recognized as Research center by the affiliated university and all eligible faculty are encouraged to guide PhD research scholars. The research output in the form of innovation, creativity and patents filing are encouraged through RDC cell. As a part of promotion, Research symposium and Project Expos are organized every year to encourage faculty and students on innovative projects. Experts from industry and academicians from reputed institutions assess the quality of projects and best projects are awarded. State of art research facilities are maintained across all disciplines to maintain R&D ambience and culture as integral part of the functioning of each department and will be one of the chief drivers of future growth of the college. Ethics in research are maintained through plagiarism check for all research papers that are submitted for publishing.
