Dr. G. Venkata Subbaiah is a Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical
Engineering at MVSR Engineering College (A), Hyderabad. He holds M.Tech and Ph.D. in
Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Ananthapuram and has over 28 years of teaching,
research, and administrative experience. Prior to joining MVSR Engineering College in 2013,
he served at Vasavi College of Engineering, KITS Warangal and SASTRA DEEMED
UNIVERSITY.
His areas of expertise include Computational and experimental studies related to IC engines,
Heat transfer, Refrigeration and air conditioning and energy systems. Dr. Subbaiah has
published 30 plus research papers in reputed national and international journals and
conferences. He is a Fellow of the ISTE and counsel member Institution of Engineers (India)
(2025-29). He is also a Sr. Life Member of ISTE and vice president of ISTE and he actively
contributes to professional bodies, serving in key roles at the state & National level.
